Q: Why don’t you have prices on your website?

A: Mostly because we don’t know how much something is gonna cost until we talk to you. Each piece is unique, so we need to know exactly what you’re looking for before we know what it’ll cost to build. We promise you this, though: When you get your quote, it’ll be the fairest price for the very best work.

 

Q: Will you make me a _________?

A: Yep. We can make anything from a Mad-Max-era motorcycle to a fairly decent chicken sandwich. And if we can’t, we usually know someone who can. So please don’t hesitate to ask.

 

Q: Can I get a free estimate?

A: Sure. We can provide costs for a past project to give you an idea of what things typically run, and for custom projects, we’ll give you a price range. If that fits the figure in your head, we’ll do a final, official estimate. When you get that, we just ask that you get back to us with a yea or nay. Preferably a yea.

 

Q: What if I don’t have a design?

A: No biggie. It doesn’t even matter if you don’t have a picture in your head. Design is pretty much our favorite part of this process—and where the real creativity takes place—so we’re happy to help. There will be a design fee, naturally, but if you go ahead with the project, it will be credited toward the final bill.

 

Q: Will you ship it to me?

A: We’re in Hanover, Minnesota, so unless you’re one of the other 3,359 people who live here, we’re gonna have to put it on a truck. Maybe even a plane or boat. But we work with all sorts of shipping and packing companies who will safely bring you your unique piece, no matter where in the world you may be.

 

Q: Do you do installation?

A: If you have the budget, we have the ability. And if you want someone on your end to do the install, we’ll talk them through it.

 

Q: Can you build me something in two days?

A: Sure, but you’re not going to like the price. Why? Because we have to put other clients on hold, pay vendors overtime, spend more on shipping, stay up all night, etc., etc. And that just makes us crabby. We will, however, do whatever we can to make you happy.

 

Q: Why do I have to pay up front?

A: For the same reason you have to pay for your TV before you bring it home. We have to buy everything up front to build your custom order, and when you pay for it, well, we don’t have to.
